1. Introduction and Acceptance
Welcome to Quorum. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Quorum's AI discussion platform (the "Service"), operated by Quorum ("we," "us," "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Definitions
- "Account" - Your registered user account on Quorum
- "Content" - All text, data, information, or other materials submitted to or generated by the Service
- "User Content" - Content you submit, including discussion questions, account information, and preferences
- "AI-Generated Content" - Responses generated by AI models through the Service

3. Eligibility and Account Requirements
Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.
Our AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, xAI) prohibit use of their services by individuals under 18. We enforce this age requirement across all service tiers.
Account Registration
To use certain features, you must register for an Account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your Account credentials
- Update your information to keep it accurate and current
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your Account
- Be responsible for all activities that occur under your Account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
Social Authentication (OAuth)
You may register or sign in using third-party authentication providers (Google, GitHub). By using social authentication, you:
- Authorize us to access basic profile information (name, email, avatar) from the provider
- Agree to the respective provider's terms of service
- Acknowledge that you can link multiple social accounts to one Quorum account
- Understand that unlinking a social account may affect your ability to sign in if no other authentication method is configured
To revoke Quorum's access to your social accounts, visit your account settings with the respective provider (Google Security Settings or GitHub Authorized Applications).
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
We offer optional Two-Factor Authentication to enhance account security. If you enable 2FA:
- You are responsible for maintaining access to your authenticator app
- Recovery codes are provided for backup access—store these securely
- Lost 2FA access may require identity verification to recover your account
- Password changes require 2FA verification when enabled
Session Security
For your protection, changing your password will invalidate all active sessions and revoke all API tokens. You will need to sign in again on all devices.
